Golden Gala

The client for this project was the Rotary Club of Peoria. They requested an event logo, an invite, an RSVP, and save the date card for their fiftieth-anniversary gala.

This was the first client project that I worked on in school. In addition to asking my graphic design class for the listed materials, they also wanted us to come up with a name. As a class, we came up with "Golden Gala", and that led the art direction I went in. I utilized the color gold and bold text, paired with a patterned background to give a nice amount of contrast.

We presented our projects to the entire Rotary Club Board at the end of the semester. It was a great experience at the sophomore level.
